MANUFACTURE AND DEVICE FOR COMPOSITE METALLIC PLATE

PURPOSE:To prevent a base stock metal from cooling before a press fitting starting point, and to prevent insufficient joining strength by specifying an approach angle to a press fitting roll of each metallic plate. CONSTITUTION:Pass line changing rolls 31 and 32 are provided between energizing rolls 11 and 12 and press fitting rolls 4. The approach angles of surface materials 1 and 2 to the press fitting rolls 4 are specified to as low as 3 to 20 deg.. Consequently, a distance between the energizing rolls 11 and 12 and the press fitting rolls 4 can be made short while holding the approach angles alpha1 and alpha2 of the metallic plate small. It can prevent the base stock metal from cooling or can reduce cooling by coming into contact with the press fitting rolls 4 before a press fitting starting point. Then, a defect in shape and insufficient strength in joining of a product can be prevented.
