Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide an electric connector for a card of a circuit board fixing type having degree of freedom of fixing position. CONSTITUTION: An electric connector 1 for a card has a supporting body 41 fixed to a groove 51 on the side surface. The supporting body 41 is inserted into the groove 51 by being pressure fitted therein for fixing, and soldered to a conductive pad of a circuit board 9, or fixed to the opening of the circuit board 9 and soldered. The supporting body 41 is capable of inserting from either direction of the groove 51. The electric connector 1 for a card is capable of engaging with a mating electric connector of the same shape and the same dimension by reversely turning, and by replacing the supporting body 41, overlapped two electric connectors 1 for card can be fixed to the circuit board 9.
