PRODUCTION OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY ELEMENT

PURPOSE:To obviate the compsn. deviation of a liquid crystal compsn. relating to a method of injecting the liquid crystal compsn. into a liquid crystal cell. CONSTITUTION:This process for production of the liquid crystal display element is constituted of a stage for positioning the liquid crystal cell 3 into a vacuum vessel 4 into which the liquid crystal compsn. 2 is housed and evacuating the inside of this vacuum vessel 4 by an exhaust system, a stage for putting low boiling point components 12, 13 constituting the liquid crystal compsn. into single or plural auxiliary vessels 6, 7 connected via flow rate controllers 8, 9 and a valve 15, heating these auxiliary vessels 6, 7 and supplying these low boiling components at prescribed flow rates into the liquid crystal 4, a stage for immersing the liquid crystal cell 3 into the liquid crystal compsn. 2 in the state of the vacuum degree in the vacuum vessel 4 attaining a prescribed vacuum degree, a stage for tightening the valve 15 connected to the vacuum vessel from the auxiliary vessels 6, 7 and changing over the valve connected from the vacuum vessel 4 to the exhaust system to introduce a dried inert gas into the vacuum vessel 4 and a stage for taking the liquid crystal cell 3 out of the liquid crystal compsn. 2 in the vacuum vessel 4.
