AIRTIGHTNESS INSPECTION SYSTEM FOR BAG PACKAGE

PURPOSE:To obtain an airtightness inspection system for bag package having functions for swallowing and spewing a bag package. CONSTITUTION:At least four sets of bag package press holding units 20 are arranged at same interval on the periphery of a disc 12 being rotated intermittently. Each unit 20 comprises a sandwich type strapping mechanism and can take in or discharge a bag package while pinching. The bag package W is taken in while holding at a first position A and then it is moved through intermittent rotation of the rotary disc 12 to a second position B where a gap (a) is measured. Subsequently, the bag package W is moved to a third position C where a gap (b) is measured. Thereafter, the bag package W is moved to a fourth position D where the package W is released and discharged. Difference between the gaps (a) and (b) is operated for same bag package W and an abnormality detection signal for rejecting the bag package W is outputted if the absolute value of the difference is higher than a predetermined value.
