Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To reduce consumption of an electrode, to facilitate control of a liquid level and to eliminate a trouble such as an unstable electric conduction, bumping, etc. CONSTITUTION:Incinerated ash 4 is melted to be treated while supplying the ash to a melt surface of an electric melting furnace. The furnace is held in a reduced atmosphere, and the ash 4 is so dispersively supplied that its surface temperature becomes 450 deg.C or higher. A surface temperature distribution of the ash 4 is measured by an infrared camera 7, etc., and the ash 4 is supplied to a part at a high temperature by an incinerated ash supply nozzle 5. Unburnt decomposed gas in the ash 4 is guided to an after-burning unit 10 and burnt.
