Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an intake control device of an engine, which can easily be assembled in an intake passage, by which tumble in the forward direction and in the reverse direction can be generated. CONSTITUTION:An intake control device of an engine includes an intake control valve 18 for changing the passage area of an intake passage 7. In this case, the intake control valve is formed by fixing a rotary shaft part 18a having a circular cross section, which is supported by a valve hole 7d of an intake passage side wall 7c and a planar valve plate 18b which is formed in such a manner as to be stored in the axial projection plane of the rotary shaft part 18a and positioned in the intake passage 7. The valve plate 18b is eccentric from the axis (a) of rotation of the rotary shaft part 18a.
