Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent an inlet pipe from being broken at a spot welding part of a cover pipe by the vertical vibration from a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A butt welding part 5 of an inlet pipe 4 formed by bending a plate into a cylinder is disposed in the lower side of the inlet pipe 4, and a reinforcing muffler stay 10 welded to a muffler pipe 9 and an outer plate 2 is installed on the upper part of the muffler pipe 9. A positioning groove 4c formed on the downstream end of the inlet pipe 4 is located by utilizing an assembling jig, so that the butt welding part 5 is positioned.
