MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING

PURPOSE:To image-form the metabolism change in a non-stress form by imaging the local disturbance of the magnetic field generated by the collection of the blood flow at a metabolism activated part, as the disturbance of the marker added on a photograph surface. CONSTITUTION:Imaging is performed before and after the metabolism change, and at this time, a marker in streak shape or lattice shape which is formed according to the intensity of the spin signal is applied on a photograph surface. The local disturbance of the magnetic field generated by the metabolism change generates the disturbance of the marker on the photograph surface, and the activated part is identified. Further, the metabolism change is image-formed from the difference between two kinds of images measured before and after the metabolism change, or the images which are successively photographed in a certain time interval are displyed contiguously. Accordingly, the metabolism change in the body can be image-formed in non-stress form, and the metabolism activated part can be identified.
