Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a new detergent and a new cleaning method to remove corrosion product of aluminum produced on the surface of aluminum sound insulation walls and to remove black dirt mixture of carbon due to exhaust gas of cars, etc., deposited on the walls. CONSTITUTION:The detergent contains (a) KOH or NaOH (b) Na2CO3 or K2CO3, (c) sodium silicate or potassium silicate, and (d) water. Further, an anionic surfactant or nonionic surfactant may be added. To clean aluminum sound insulation walls, this detergent is foamed and sprayed onto the walls to make deposition of dirt float, and then rinsing walls with an aq. soln. containing ammonium salt of polybasic acid.
