METHOD FOR DRIVING AUTOMATIC WINDER

PURPOSE: To more smoothly process a caddie at the time of lot exchange and to remarkably shorten operation time by successively opening and connecting a winding part in a direction opposite to the carrying direction of a tube return guide path. CONSTITUTION: In this method for leaving the caddie 4 in the annular carrying route of a winding machine 1 and guiding it again from the tube return guide path 22 to a cop supply path 2 when no more cop is supplied to the winding machine 1 at the end of the lot of one time, the operation of the winding machine 1 is operation connected, the last winding part 5 on a downstream side in a product flowing direction of a distribution route 3 extended along the winding parts so as to supply the cops to the winding part 5 is opened and connected and the cops are carried away from the distribution route 3. Then, the remaining winding parts 5 are successively opened and connected, the caddies 4 arranged at a delivery position and a standby position are carried and the cops or the tubes are removed regardless of a winding state from all the sent caddies 4 at the downstream of the tube return guide path 22.
