PURPOSE:To cope with the request of a terminal by storing a message at every time when a reception side telephone set terminal is set in a non-reception state, calling any optimum message when the terminal is turned to a responding state, and sending it to the terminal. CONSTITUTION:Communication information is sent from an origination side telephone set terminal 11j through an exchange control part 13 of an electronic exchange 12 to the reception side telephone set terminal 11a. When the speaker of the terminal 11a is absent, the terminal is turned to the non-reception state, and this detection signal is sent through the control part 13 to the terminal 11j. The registration of message service is requested by operating a dial pad 19j or a function key from the terminal 11j receiving this non-terminating signal, and the request is sent through the control part 13 to a message service control part 14. When the registration is requested, the message corresponding to information is received by the control part 14 and stored in a storage part 15 for each time zone. When the message responding state is detected, any optimum message is called from the storage part 15 corresponding to the counted time and sent to the terminal 11a. Corresponding to the contents, the request of the terminal 11a can be coped with.
