Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a time division multiplexer capable of monitoring an error in the inside. CONSTITUTION:The time division multiplexer in which data transmission between the time division multiplexers 10 and 10' is performed in an internal frame is constituted of means 11, 11' provided at a transmission system and which performs the patrol redundancy inspection of data from a terminal and also, obtains a value found from such inspection as error detection information, means 8, 8' which secures the area of an error detection bit in the internal frame and attaches the error detection information on the area, and means 10, 10' provided at a reception system and which performs the patrol redundancy inspection of the data obtained from the internal frame and also, performs error check by collating a value found by such inspection with extracted error detection information.
