Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To realize operation with a nearly 100% of fuel usage by concentrating water and inert gas in a gas mixture of a negative pole side, or inert gas in a gas mixture on a positive pole side, thereafter partially exhausting them. CONSTITUTION: After connecting an electric load to a fuel battery device 2, oxygen as a gas mixture introduced to a negative pole 8 is converted into an oxygen ion O electrically charged as negative divalence by the negative pole of fuel batteries n1a-n70b. Next, the free hydrogen ions converted from hydrogen gas H2 in a positive pole of the fuel batteries n1a-n70 flow into the negative pole through external electrical loads, at the same time, the hydrogen ions are recombined with oxygen ions to form water. Therefore, the oxygen content in the gas mixture on the pole 8 and the hydrogen content in the gas mixture on the pole 18 are respectively reduced, thus the density of inert gas component IG and the ratio of inert gas and water are increased, and concentrated. A significant amount of water and inert gas are exhausted from the device 2 and replaced with a new gas, thereby increasing efficiency.
