CARD CONVEYING PROCESS SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To automatize conveyance and discrimination and to reduce defectives by reading the output information of a card which is conveyed and controlling a conveyance device so that the card is conveyed again when the read result is abnormal. CONSTITUTION:The format of discrimination information of a discrimination device 31 and the permissible number of errors (retrial frequency) for the case of failure in reading are initially set and stored in a memory 52. When the card 24 which is conveyed by the card conveyance device 51 reaches a specific position, the discrimination information is read. The output information from the card 24 is compared with previously set data format information and a reconveyance instruction is sent to the conveyance device unless the data format is matched to count the frequency of abnormal occurrence up and store it in the memory 52. The card conveyance device 51 which receives the reconveyance instruction conveys the card 24 reversely to convey or set the card to the discrimination device 31 again, so that the card is discriminated.
