IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PURPOSE:To enable fixing at and under a low temp. and low line pressure in order to press fix toners after preheating so that the need for members of heat resistant specifications for a fixing device and its periphery is eliminated and to lessen the collapse of fine lines and blurring of images so that high image quality is obtd. and the life of a fixing is prolonged. CONSTITUTION:This image forming method consists of an electrostatic charging stage for a photosensitive body 1, an exposing stage, a developing stage for forming a toner image on the electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive body 1 and a transfer stage for the toner image on a recording medium 6 and a fixing stage for the toner image after the transfer onto the recording medium 6. The toners are capsule toners which are constituted of a thermoplastic core material contg. at least a thermoplastic resin and coloring agents and a shell provided to cover the surface of the core material. The main component of the shell consists of amorphous polyester. The transfer stage of the image forming method consists in preheating the toners on the recording medium 6 by an endless type exothermic film 11, then press fixing the toners.
