AUTOMATIC MEASURING APPARATUS OF FOREIGN MATTER OF POWDERY PRODUCT

PURPOSE:To provide an automatic foreign matter measuring apparatus which can continuously and automatically measure a foreign matter mixed into a powdery product with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:The apparatus has a removing device 10 for removing static electricity of a supplied powdery sample, a hopper 41 for receiving and storing the powdery sample after the electricity is removed when the sample is dropped from the device 10, a conveyor 42 for transferring the powdery sample running out of the hopper 41 and spread into a uniform thickness as a to-be- photographed body, and a video camera 43 for photographing the powdery sample on the conveyor 42 in a constant field of view. Since the static electricity is removed from the powdery sample 1 by the device 10, the powdery sample is not formed into a lump and spread flat when it is turned to a uniform thickness. Therefore, a photographed image by the video camera 43 of even a powdery sample of vinyl chloride resin or the like easy to charge includes no dark point due to the shadow of the rough sample, and has only a dark point due to a foreign matter.
