PURPOSE:To secure the status for composite transactions after recovery by deciding whether or not the interruption of the transaction processing corresponding to another input screen is accepted with reference to the discriminating information when an indication is given to save the input screen under display and to call another input screen. CONSTITUTION:When the input is through with all data necessary for transactions, a transmission key 18 is pushed for replacement of a customer account file. A host system 30 performs various checks after receiving a telegram. If no problem is detected, the transaction is fixed and the balance of the corresponding customer account in an account file 31. Then the discrimination code showing the conclusion of transaction and the data to be printed are given in reply to a terminal equipment 1 in the form of telegram. The equipment 1 checks the telegram and answers the contents of an error and the discriminating information showing that the transaction is not fixed if an error showing that a deposit amount exceeds the limit of tax exemption is detected. A saving request is accepted at an optional time point since only the interruption transactions that give no effect to the status of the transaction under saving are allowed. Thus the identity of status is secured when the original transaction is started again.
