CONSTITUTION:A thin inorganic insulating film 2 about 10-7(OMEGA.cm)-1 or under in electric conductivity is formed on a metallic foil so as to constitute a substrate, and on the substrate, a plurality of generation areas 13, 14, and 15 consisting of thin films are formed, and in each area, a p-i-n junction photovoltaic element constituted of an amorphous semiconductor is made.
