Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent the displayed content of the display device of a word processor or a computer from being discriminated by a third person. CONSTITUTION:A display pattern such as a character or a graphic is displayed on the pattern display part 2 of the display device, and also a non-sense disturbance pattern is displayed thereon. An opening/closing signal in synchronism with the display timing of the display pattern and the disturbance pattern is generated by a switching signal output part 4 and given to spectacles 5. The spectacles 5 open/close a shutter according to the opening/closing signal, so that only the user 6 of the display device can view the display pattern. Since a non-user 7 simultaneously views the display pattern and the disturbance pattern which are switched at high speed, he (she) can not discriminate the displayed content by the afterimage effect of a display screen 1.
