JIG FOR MEASURING TAPERED WORK

PURPOSE:To easily and accurately correct the attitude of a tapered work in the tapered hole of a gauge base. CONSTITUTION:A gauge base 6 has a tapered hole 7 in which a work 1 having a conical outer peripheral surface 1a can be put. An attitude correcting tool 11 is constituted in such a way that a pushing body 13 is put in a base body 12 of the tool 11 put on the base 6 so that the pushing body 13 can freely slide in the vertical direction. The pushing body 13 has a horizontal work contacting surface 24 which comes into contact with the upper surface 1b of the work 1 over the entire periphery at its bottom. Even when the work 1 is put in the hole 7 in a tilted state, the work 1 becomes horizontal when the pushing body 13 is pressed from the top. After correcting the attitude of the work 1, the work attitude correcting tool 11 is removed from the base 6 and the level difference between the upper surface 1b of the work 1 and upper surface 6b of the base 6 is measured. Therefore, the measurement accuracy is also improved.
