Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an antithrombosis elastomer and a medical instrument having mechanical properties and antithrombogenic quality suitable for the material of a medical instrument. CONSTITUTION:This antithrombosis elastomer is composed of a polyethylene oxide chain grafted onto butyl rubber halide composed of a bonded antithrombosis compound, and a medical instrument is made of the elastomer. According to this construction, the antithrombosis elastomer and medical instrument are equivalent to conventional products at least in terms of mechanical strength, and the antithrombogenic quality thereof is approximately 2 to 18 times higher than that of the conventional products.
