X-RAY GENERATOR

PURPOSE:To perform a radiographic test easily and surely by downsizing an X-ray generator so that the X-ray generator can be placed in a small place, inside a piping of a small diameter, or the like. CONSTITUTION:A high voltage transformer 6 is included in a same casing 7 as a X-ray tube 5 is included, and supplies high voltage to the X-ray tube 5. The iron core thereof is formed by amorphous alloy mainly composed of iron having superior high-frequency characteristic or silicon steel plates containing silicon so as to increase magnetic flux density, decrease iron loss, and downsize the high voltage transformer 6. A secondary coil of the high voltage transformer 6 is wound on the primary coil thereof so as to form a multistage multilayer winding disc coil structure, and reduce distributed capacitance. Pulse high-frequency power having high frequency is supplied to the high voltage transformer 6 from the pulse high-frequency generator of an X-ray control device so as to reduce the iron loss further.
