Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To separate solvent, instead of releasing it outside, that is evaporated at coal tar analysis and to effectively recover it with a closed system. CONSTITUTION:A coal tar sample separation device consists of a water bath 1 that allows temperature setting, a sample separation chamber 2, which is the upper part of the water bath 1, a solvent recovering device 3 that communicates with the sample separation chamber 2, and a circulation device 4 that makes gas in the sample separation chamber 2 circulate through the solvent recovering device 3. The circulation device 4 is provided with a heating device 12, and while the gas in the sample separation chamber 2 is circulated between the sample separation chamber 2 and the solvent recovering device 3 without exhausted into the atmosphere, solvent-separation is made with the sample, for recovery with the solvent recovering device 3.
