The torque transmitted from the brake disk 13 to the half clutch portion 35 turns the half clutch portion 35 by 10 to 20% of one rotation, and is transmitted to a piston 25 of a pressure generating device 24 via a can track 38. Thus, the piston 25 moved radially outward discharges working fluid from a discharge chamber, and a piston of a clamping device 20 is pushed by pressure. The piston performs the axial stroke, and by this axial stroke, a friction pad 18.2 in one hand, and a friction pad 18.1 via a floating caliper 17 in other hand press the brake disk 13, and decelerate the vehicle according to the clamping force.
