A number of cathodes 4 arranged in a pattern of parallel streaks are provided on the back panel 2 via a layer 7 of dielectric substance such as glass. The cathodes 4 are formed by printing and baking a conductive paste of silver or the like on the back panel 2 to provide trigger electrodes 8, and forming the layer 7 of dielectric substance in advance, and applying a nickel dielectric paste thereon by screen printing or the like. A paste containing zirconium diboride is printed in layers thereon and baked at predetermined temperatures. As a result, the gas electric discharge panel exhibits excellent electric performance. |
