HYDRAULIC TYPE VALVE CLEARANCE COMPENSATING ELEMENT

PURPOSE: To economically improve assembly process by forming an outside tappet with a tube-shaped mantle made of thermo-plastic synthetic resin that at least partially has slide surfaces in its inside and outside, closing off an outside mantle with a fluid seal by a disk that is structured as an expeller in the direction of cam shaft, and enclosing the inside tappet with a fluid seal by the inside slide surface. CONSTITUTION: This hydraulic valve play equalization element has an inner tappet 1 and an outer tappet 2 that are arranged to move relative to one another in axial direction, and they are arranged so as to minimize a sealed and oil-filled storage space 3. The outer tappet 2 is composed of a circular plate 9 that has the bottom in direction of a cam shaft 8, and a tube-shaped outer mantle 7. The storage space 3 is sealed and oil-filled, and a pushing element 4 is arranged for equalizing volume changes. The outer mantle 7 is made of thermo-plastic synthetic resin, and has inside slide surface 5 and outside slide surface 6. By this constitution, assembly process of the valve play equalization element is essentially improved in operation economy, and the assembly becomes easier.
