Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To manage a network provided with plural manageable devices high performance. CONSTITUTION: This method manages the plural manageable devices 10 formed into networked and these manageable devices 10 respectively include at least one file server with a system board, a drive array subsystem related with the file server and a server manager 24 provided for the file server for monitoring the system board from a manager console by using a management information base (namely 'MIB'). The plural objects of first to third respectively describing the system board, the drive array subsystem and the server manager 24 are gathered within MIB and assembled. Then this assembled MIB is used for managing the file server.
