OIL SEPARATING DEVICE FOR BLOW-BY GAS

PURPOSE:To recover smoothly oil contained in blow-by gas by separating the oil while keeping ventilative resistance low when the blow-by gas passes through an oil separating device. CONSTITUTION:Aggregate where a tubular body bundle 24 formed by juxtaposing plural mutually parallel tubular bodies laterally in a row is superposed in multilayers, is used in an oil droplet acquisition member 12 of an oil separating device 11 constituted inside of a cylinder head cover 10, and both end surfaces of the tubular bodies constituting the tubular body bundle 24 have an inclination of 40 deg. to an axial direction of the tubular bodies. Upper and lower mat members 28 and 30 composed of a fiber-like material are arranged in both end parts, and the lower mat member 30 is supported with an under cover 14 in which a groove is formed so as to continue to an oil discharge port 18. An oil droplet in blow-by gas is stuck on the inner wall surfaces of the tubular bodies in a process of passing through the tubular body bundle 24, and is separated from the blow-by gas, and is recovered to a crank case.
