Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a sun visor for a vehicle which can be pivoted about its upper longitudinal rim and, further, can be used as a generator for the inside/ outside of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: On the side of a sun visor 10 which faces toward the outside in a folded-down position, the sun visor 10 is provided with solar modules 16 which are connected to at least one battery disposed in a recessed portion on the inner side of the sun visor 10. A pivot mounting of the sun visor 10 is detachably attached to a vehicle, so that a current accumulated from solar energy, for instance while driving, can also be used outside the vehicle. The sun visor can be supplemented with additional sun visor 20 of an appropriate construction.
