Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a heat-sensitive magnetic recording material useable for a high-density magnetic recording and having a highly heat-sensitive recording layer, a white ground and an excellent magnetic and heat-sensitive characteristic. CONSTITUTION:A heat-sensitive recording type magnetic recording material comprises a supporting body consisting mainly of wood pulp and a magnetic recording layer and a heat-sensitive recording layer both formed on the supporting body. The supporting body is given an integration value (PY value) of less than 5.0mum over the power spectra in a wavelength of 1-12.5mm obtained when the unevenness of its thickness is continuously measured by a film thickness gage and the resulting measured signals are analyzed by a frequency analyzer. The use of the aforesaid supporting body improves adhesion between a magnetic head and the magnetic recording layer and between a heat-sensitive head and the heat-sensitive recording layer, thereby obtaining the heat-sensitive recording type magnetic recording material having an excellent magnetic and heat-sensitive characteristic.
