IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain high reproducibility by using a color correction matrix coefficient by finding the area of a specific color (skin color, sky color, etc.). CONSTITUTION:The specific color such as the skin color is extracted (S1 and S2) by making a prescan. Pixels of the specific colors are counted to find the area (S3). The area of the specific color is compared with a specific value C (S4); when S < C, normal color corrections are made (S6) and unless S < C, other color corrections are made (S9 and S10). Namely, area extraction based upon the color is performed (S9) and the coefficient of color corrections is changed, color by color (S10). Thus, a print having high color reproducibility is obtained.
