CONSTITUTION:Apatite single crystal deficient in calcium is formed by using an electrolyte containing phosphate ion, calcium ion, fluorine ion and an alkali metal salt or ammonium salt as an electrical conductivity imparting agent by electrolytic operation. Conditions such as concentration of electrolyte, electrolytic temperature and electrolytic current are properly decided and trolysis is preferably operated at 60 deg.C
