Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To simplify a configuration of a cup supply unit in which a cup is to be mounted in a correct partner relationship onto an encoded caddy which is positioned by a stopper at a cup supply station so that the cup can be individually transported within a closed caddy transportation system. CONSTITUTION: Cup insertion and engagement positions 23, 25, 27 belonging to a plurality of cup supply stations 22, 24, 26 are arranged in line directly along main transportation lines 6, 61, 8 of a caddy 33. On the upstream of the respective cup insertion and engagement positions of the cup supply stations, readers 15, 18, 21 for reading out caddy codes are respectively disposed. The respective readers have command signal connection lines which communicate with the respective adjacent cup supply stations for activating the cup mounting onto the caddy when the caddy code corresponds to a partner cup code.
