CONTACT PIN PRESS-IN DEVICE

PURPOSE:To reuse a contact pin, even when its point collides due to position displacement or the like, by confirming the contact pin for whether its point is inserted to a through hole or not in the bottom dead center of a holding mechanism, stopping pressure action when in abnormality, and using in this action a press-fit head structure left as in light weight. CONSTITUTION:In the bottom dead center of a holding mechanism, whether the point of a contact pin 3 is inserted or not to a through hole 7, provided in a backboard 2, is confirmed by a photomicrosensor, and a stop signal against pressure action is output, when in abnormality, to stop press fitting by controlling a pressure head. A pressure head mechanism, whose weight is decreased lighter than its own weight of the head by a weight lightening mechanism, is held by the holding mechanism. Here is constituted the weight lightening mechanism of pulleys provided in the upper part front/rear of a frame, to stop the front end part of a wire, linked to this pulley, to the holding mechanism, and a weight a little lighter than the pressure head is left as mounted to the rear end part of the wire.
