Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To apply a tough switch function to a liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal material layer 17 is pinched by transparent films 9, 13 having transparent electrodes 11, 15, and they are integrated to form a liquid crystal sheet main body 1. A touch switch section 7 is formed on part of the liquid crystal sheet main body 1 between the transparent films 9, 13. When the driving voltage is applied to the transparent electrodes 11, 15 of the transparent films 9, 13, a liquid crystal display action is made. When a touch is applied to the region of the switch section 7, the transparent electrodes 11, 15 are brought into contact with each other for a switch action.
