CROSS SECTIONAL SHAPE MEASURING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide a light section method cross sectional shape measuring device capable of stably and exactly measuring the cross sectional shape without being affected by the brightness of disturbance light. CONSTITUTION:A laser projection 1a of variable output and a CCD camera of variable sensitivity are provided and a external light recognition part 15 outputting a command for raising the output of the projection 1a and lowering the sensitivity of the CCD camera 2a to a laser light controlling part 9 and a camera sensitivity controlling part 14 when the disturbance light is judged very strong. An image processor 11 is so constituted that the image when a laser slit light is emitted is subtracted from the image when it is not emitted and the cross sectional shape is extracted.
