Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a composite material consisting essentially of cement and powdery vulcanized rubber and excellent in weight reducing effect, flexibility, sound insulating property and vibration damping property. CONSTITUTION:This composite material consists of cement, powdery vulcanized rubber having 20-500mum particle diameter and a vinyl acetate adhesive as an auxiliary binder or a metallic salt of methacrylic acid. The amt. of the vulcanized rubber and that of the auxiliary binder are preferably regulated to 5-40wt.% and 5-50wt.% of the amt. of the cement, respectively.
