VEHICLE IGNITION LOCK DEVICE

PURPOSE:To help a user when a locking means is out of order by providing a counting means which detects the opening of a door or a trunk lid or the activation of a head lamp and a horn before a specified time period is elapsed after the function of an input means is stopped, is cleared when the opening or activation are repeated a specified number of times, and generates the trigger signal to a driven device. CONSTITUTION:A function stopping means which does not generate the driving signal from a comparative means to a locking device 37 when the non-regular key code is received by an input device 15, and stops the function of the input device 15 for a specified time period when the key codes from a storage circuit 38 and the input circuit 15 are not coincident with each other. A trigger signal counting means which detects the number of the operation of a lamp switch 40, a horn switch 41, a door switch 42 and a trunk switch 43 after the function of the input device 15 is stopped and before the specified time is elapsed, and clears them, and generates the driving signal to the locking device 37 is provided. The timer counts the time where the function of the input device 15 is stopped (e.g. 3 minutes) and counts the number of operation to help the operator (e.g. 10 times).
