THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL

PURPOSE: To provide the good characteristics of use for a heat-sensitive recording material and manufacture the same inexpensively without generating a pre-developed color when a sensitizer is selected and also without the necessity of a number of working processes. CONSTITUTION: A heat-sensitive recording material contains a coloring agent coated with a polymer at least in a certain case, a developer coated with a polymer in some cases and an auxiliary developer coated with a polymer. In that case, the auxiliary developer is rather hydrophobic and is a substance soluble only slightly in water and remaining as a solid at the room temperature, and as the developer, an electronic acceptor used for the purpose usually is used, and as the coloring agent, a substance developing colors by bringing the substance into contact particularly with the electronic acceptor and discharging electrons or absorbing protons is used.
