Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a drill preparation device for automating preparation work of a drill, and for improving workability. CONSTITUTION:A drill preparation device is provided with a drill cassette 23 for transferring a drill, which is arranged with its edge point pointed upward in a drill case, into a state where the edge point is pointed downward, a ring feeding unit 16 for feeding a ring to be fitted in a shank part of the drill, and a drill magazine 26 for storing the drill fitted with the ring in the shank part, and for feeding the drill to a printed board driller. A table 4 is also provided, with which the drill cassette 23, the ring feeding unit 16 and the drill magazine 26 are supported attachable/detachable, and on which they can be moved in the direction X. A cross-slide 10, which is movable in the direction Y, and a chuck 15, which is movable in the direction Z, and which is supported with the cross-slide 10, are provided on the upper part of the table 4.
