SIZING PRESS

PURPOSE:To reduce frictional resistance between bed plates and a housing, to prevent the vibration of the floor surface and to absorb the expansion of a housing due to the thermal effect by inserting rollers between the bed plates and the housing. CONSTITUTION:This sizing press consists by mounting the housing 9 on which dies 12 with which the edging pressing of a material is executed are provided on the bed plates 3, 4 which are fixed on the floor surface 1. The rollers 17 are arranged between the bed plates 3, 4 and the bottom of the housing so as to be rotatable in the direction parallel to the width direction of material. Restraining means 21, 22 with which the whole of the housing is prevented from being moved in the width direction are provided between the bed plates and the housing, engaging means 18 with which the housing is prevented from being moved the longitudinal direction of material and the elongation and contraction of the housing in the width direction of material is allowed are provided. In this way, reaction to be transferred to the floor surface is reduced, so the vibration of the floor surface is prevented.
