Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To treat surfactant in surfactant-containing water such as hardly biodegradable polyoxyethylenenonylphenyl ether without the occurrence of a problem such as foaming. CONSTITUTION:Surfactant-containing water is first sent to the inflow part of a biological reaction tank 14, and an activator is allowed to adsorb the surfactant and then is subjected to biodegradation. After that, the treated water is extracted from a delivery pipe 24 and is sent to an aeration tank 28 to increase the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the treated water. Further, part of the treated water is returned to the reaction tank 14 to replenish oxygen required for biodegradation.
