Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To maintain security, to recycle waste paper and to sufficiently and uniformly loosen paper pieces by crushing the paper pieces in a reutilizable state in a short period of time. CONSTITUTION:This paper piece crushing treatment device 1 has a casing 2 and a pair of revolving shafts 3 which rotate at rotating speeds different from each other in a direction of winding the paper pieces 4 therebetween. The device is provided with shower pipes for supplying proper volume of water to the paper pieces 4 and is provided with a discharge gate 10 adjustable in opening area. The circumferential surfaces of the revolving shafts 3 are projectingly provided with cutters 11 for tearing the paper pieces and cutters 12 for crushing the paper pieces. The flanks 12c in the rotating direction of rectangular thick plates 12a constituting the cutters 12 for crushing the paper pieces incline toward the discharge gate 10 side. The long side of the front ends 12b of the rectangular thick plates 12a is set longer than the distance up to the other rectangular thick plates 12a adjacent thereto in the axial direction.
