Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve bulkiness, drape performance and filling efficiency by forming a long fiber tow by a fiber having a cutting point and a fiber having no cutting point in a long fiber tow filled body used in a mat, a cushion, a pillow and so on. CONSTITUTION:In a long fiber tow filled body, a fiber having a cutting point is mixed in a part of a constituent unit fiber, so that a fiber having a cutting point and a fiber having no cutting point are entangled in three dimensions to enable uniform filling. Furthermore, good bulkiness and high drape performance and high dimensional stability can be obtained. At the time of manufacturing such a long fiber tow filled body, at first, a long fiber tow 14 is passed through the straight guide bars 1-5 to be expanded and then supplied to back, second, and front pressure rollers 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b, 8a, 8b. Subsequently, a part of the fiber expanded tow is cut at random by a cutting device 10, and then charged in a permeable mold 13 by a filling nozzle 13.
