Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To increase the constraint torque of a driven body in a ring-shaped traveling wave type ultrasonic motor. CONSTITUTION:A stacked type piezoelectric actuator 2 in which a compressive force is applied to a belleville spring 7 by an extension along the press direction during stopping of rotors 5 and 6 is installed so that the press force between stators 3 and 4 placed on a fixing member 1 in a rotationally regulating condition and the rotors 5 and 6 placed in concentric with the stators 3 and 4 and connected to a driven body during stopping of the rotors 5 and 6 is increased more than the press force during rotation of the rotors 5 and 6.
