COCK DIRECT CONNECTION TYPE MEMBRANE FILTER UNIT

PURPOSE:To provide a compact cock direct connection type membrane filter unit removing bacteria and particles in tap water, preventing the propagation of bacteria in filtered water, high in safety and made simple in replacement and handling by a method wherein a specific stacked disc is received and fixed in a transparent plastic housing provided with a cock joint and an outlet conduit. CONSTITUTION:In a cock direct connection type membrane filter unit, at first, a plurality of discs with a thickness of 1-5mm formed by sealing hydrophilic plastic membranes with a display pore size of 0.05-0.45mum to the upper and under surfaces of a plastic support with a thickness of 1-5mm having a plurality of ribs are superposed one upon another to form a stacked disc 1. The stacked disc 1 is received and fixed in a cylindrical housing 2 having a cock joint 3, an inlet conduit 4 and an air vent 5 provided to the upper part thereof and having an outlet conduit 6 provided to the lower part thereof.
