Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a camera for printing and calligraphy which is made small in size and light in weight and designed simply by devising the illuminating method of an illuminator. CONSTITUTION:The camera for printing and calligraphy including a photographing means 4 photographing an object 8 placed on an original platen 2 and the illuminating means 6 illuminating the object has a mirror 5 provided to lead the object to the photographing means and the illuminating means 6 is arranged side by side so that the illuminating direction of the means 6 is almost the same as the photographing direction of the photographing means 4 and constituted so as to illuminate the object 8 by using the reflection of the mirror 5.
