Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To submerge a cellular block without withdrawing a bridge beam which is present above a place where the cellular block is submerged, by positioning the cellular block at such a place in a condition in which the cellular block is floated in water so as to be horizontally moved. CONSTITUTION:A lift-up unit 3 having a float body 2 which can be inserted in a cavity 10 of a block 1, is inserted in the latter while the block 1 is positioned above, and the lift-up unit 3 and the block is connected together by means of chain blocks 4. Further, the block 1 is hung down onto the water surface by means of the lift-up unit 3, and then is floated in water by the buoyancy of the float body 2, and further the block 1 is bottomed through the lowering operation of the chain block 4.
