MANUFACTURE OF TI RAW MATERIAL BRIQUETTE INCLUDING ADDITIVE

PURPOSE:To enable mass-production of a Ti raw material briquette having small diameter by separately manufacturing half-cutting Ti raw material outer shell and including additive according to component aeries in the Ti alloy to be melted and integrating. CONSTITUTION:The Ti raw material 11 is supplied into forming rolls 1 in a Ti raw material outer shell manufacturing equipment 17 to manufacture the Ti raw material outer shells 12. The direction of the outer shells 12 is turned to use these outer shells as an upper mold 18 and a lower mold 19, and the additive 20 according to the component series in the Ti alloy to be melted is charged into between both molds. Successively, notching press is executed with notches 22, 23 to stick and integrate the upper mold 18 and the lower die 19, thus the Ti raw material briquette 16 is obtd.
