Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a rotary valve for powder which can always discharge a fixed quantity of powder stably without lowering of discharge and is improved in its discharge capacity by providing a gear-like rotor having a tooth form where an angle between a plane and an inclined face is formed in 30-40 deg.. CONSTITUTION:The turning direction of a rotor 3 is shown by an arrow C, and the tooth form of each tooth 3a of the rotor 3 inserted in a rotor chamber 2 is such that the back in the turning direction is formed in a plane 3e substantially along the diametral direction of the rotor 3 and the front in the turning direction is formed in an inclined surface 3f which gets nearer to a rotating shaft 4 as it goes in the turning direction. Concerning an angle of inclination of the inclined surface 3f, an angle between the plane 3e and the inclined surface 3f is formed 30 deg.-40 deg.. Accordingly, the powder throw pressure at a supply port 5 is softened by the inclined surface, so that at the time of accumulation, the powder will not be compressed. Furthermore, an angle between an inclined surface and the peripheral surface of a rotor chamber is an acute angle in the vicinity of a discharge port, so that the powder can be gradually discharged not to be scooped up again by the tip.
